The health care charity golf tourney is back
The Celebrating Health Care Golf Tournament is back this summer! The East Kootenay Foundation for Health and Windermere Health Care Auxiliary, along with title sponsor Kootenay Savings, are proud to once again host an event that promises a wonderful day of golf, fun and friendship, while helping to raise funds towards the purchase of a new fetal monitor for the Invermere District Hospital Pediatrics Unit.
In the first three years of the event, thanks in large part to the overwhelming support fro our generous sponsors and golfers, we raised over $67,000 towards the redevelopment of the Invermere District Hospital Emergency Department! Now we’re excited to direct all our energy and focus in 2011 on bringing a state of the art fetal monitor to the Columbia Valley.
Along with 18-holes of golf, the day also includes hole-in-one, closest to the pin and door prizes, a silent auction and a fantastic meal from The View restaurant at Copper Point. Most important of all; it’s an opportunity to make a significant contribution to children’s healthcare in the East Kootenay!
We invite you to join us in our fundraising efforts, either as a valued past or inspired new golfer on Saturday, August 20 at the Ridge Course. The tournament’s four person team “shamble” format is perfect for golfers of all abilities, from novice to experienced players.
To register, please contact the Invermere or Radium branches of Kootenay Savings or the EKFH toll-free at 1-877-489-6481.
