Take a virtual tour with CFC

cfcvirtual.jpg

CFC (Cranbrook Family Connections) has become virtual!  Thanks to 3 dedicated Mt. Baker DFT 12 students and Columbia Basin Youth Grants.

“We now have a DVD of all the staff , programs and services that operate out of our building on a daily basis. A ‘virtual tour’ as it is is  available at any time to anyone who may wonder what goes on in the little building next to the skate park,” said Sandra Davis, coordinator of CFC.  “This is an excellent resource for sharing information to our community.”

The idea stemmed from a conversation of how to get the message out to folks, youth in particular to know where to go to access resources and ask sometime uncomfortable questions. An idea, until we had these fabulous youth step forward to take on the task of creating a stimulating video for their peers.  It was a tremendous amount of work on their part and CBT  Youth Grants supported the endeavor with a financial contributions that really helped to set the stage.  Columbia Basin Youth Grants are very supportive of basin youth who have creative ideas,  action plans, etc. that help their community.  The staff at CBT are wonderful to work with and without their efforts many good ideas just wouldn’t come together as smoothly.

Sandra, Pat, Isabel, Niki, Linda, Charlotte, Gary, Polly & Kelly wish to give A Big Thank You to all involved – Great teamwork everyone!
