Faces of A Clear View
A goal of reaching $1 million for a new digital stereotactic mammography unit for the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in two years was ambitious. Attaining that goal in one year was just astounding.
"I was really overcome by emotion when the reality hit that we all made something beautiful happen. For me the campaign was not just about the financial outcome but about the wonderful array of moments that remind you how precious life is. A Clear View has impacted my life so wonderfully," said Donna Grainger, executive director of the campaign.
This momentous goal would not have been reached without help from around the Kootenays. Business people, organizations and private individuals dug deep and proved that the people in the region have some of the biggest hearts on the planet.
