Every year, Cranbrook McDonald’s Restaurant and the Cranbrook Fire Department team up and choose a child from the community to be an honorary Fire Chief for the Day in an effort to promote fire awareness and safety in a fun way. Today we celebrated our Fire Chief for the Day contest winner Jax Mullin who is 8 years old and attends St. Mary’s Elementary School. Cranbrook firefighters spent time in his classroom, answering questions and promoting fire safety. Jax also got to travel to McDonald’s for lunch in the fire truck!
