Cadets, Officers and Staff from 279 Elk Valley and 552 Key City Air Cadet Squadrons gave up their “wings” for the weekend, in exchange for a “mast” at the annual Spring Leadership Camp, conveniently turning them into Pirates. Cadets were divided into four crews, each serving on a ship. The Captain & First Mate helped the crew work together to succeed at the challenges they faced.
The cadets would like to thank the Fort Steele Rod & Gun Club for the use of their facility and the Sparwood Lions Club, for the use of tent awnings. If anyone is interested in learning more about air cadets in Cranbrook, Elk Valley/Sparwood, Kimberley or Creston, please contact 2Lt Bott 250-426-3685. 552keycity@gmail.com.
