Fundraiser for literacy earns more than $2,200
Jason Wheeldon of Royal Lepage, East Kootenay Realty, who sported a mullet from his carrier days in the 80’s for the occasion, was out raising money for the Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy. Donna Grainger received an Advertiser and a Daily Townsman with her donation. Members of Council, Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce and Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy were all out raising money. The total money raised was $2205.59.
