RCMP looking for missing Golden man
The Golden RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing man, Gregory Charles Winter.
On Saturday June 2, 2012, at around 8:00 pm, Gregory Charles Winter 49 years of age was reported missing by a friend. Winter was last seen around noon at the Golden municipal campground when he left his campsite on foot, in search of campfire wood. Winter’s was reported as being in a depressed state of minda in recent past days.
The Golden RCMP and the Golden Search and Rescue team conducted air, ground and river searches throughout the following day, of the campground and area which borders the Kicking Horse river. All searches yielded negative results in finding any sign and in locating the man.
Gregory Charles Winter is described as a Caucasian male, slim build, 5’6” / 170cm, 150 lbs / 68kg., blue eyes, brown greying hair with a moustache and unshaven. He also wears glasses.
He was last seen wearing a black and beige jacket, purple shirt, blue jeans and grey running shoes.
