Deceased woman's identity released
The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a woman who was found deceased in the Fairmont Hot Springs area on Jan. 24, 2013.
She was Cheyenne Michelle Mason-Lalonde, aged 20, a resident of Fairmont Hot Springs.
Ms. Mason-Lalonde was found by a friend late in the evening of Jan. 24, 2013, near a golf course in Fairmont Hot Springs. She had been reported missing to the local RCMP detachment a few hours earlier. She was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death. Foul play has now been ruled out.
