Letter: Not in support of ALC changes

A certain few members of Kootenay Livestock Association have requested that members write to you in support of the ALR changes.

We do not support the changes as they stand now, however we do think that changes do need to be made in consultation with farmers & ranchers.  As it stands now, developers and special interests could sit on regional  boards to get their own agendas to the detriment of agricultural land. Consultation to date has be selective and not open. The whole membership of the KLA does not have a consensus position on the ALR changes.

Thank you,

~Leanne Colombo, Cranbrook
