Atom Ice win home tournament
The Cranbrook Atom Deveopment ICE hosted an 8 team tourney last weekend. Cranbrook had 2 wins and a loss through round robin action loosing only to the Midnapore Machine.
After beating the Bow River Bruins 7-0 in the cross over game the ICE would again meet the Machine for the championship. Cranbrook would get two goals early before Midnapore tied it up late in the first. Midnapore would then score two early goals in the second before Cranbrook shifted gears scoring 7 goals with the final score being 9-6.
