Heartbreaking ICE weekend

The Kootenay ICE were busy last weekend playing three games in three nights.

Friday night the ICE were up against the Saskatoon Blades and though they put in a solid effort the Blades won the game in OT 3-2.

Saturday night the ICE faced the Vancouver Giants with local product Payton Lee in goal for the Giants. It was a chippy game and Vancouver muscled their way to a 6-3 victory.

Sunday night the ICE travelled to Medicine Hat and again after a good effort the ICE found themselves losing a close one 3-1 against the Tigers.
