ICE take 4 points from Wheat Kings
The Kootenay ICE went into Calgary and stole a win before coming home for a double header against the Brandon Wheat Kings. In Calgary Brock Montgomery had a natural hat trick to help lead the ICE to a 4-0 victory over the Hitmen. Mackenzie Skapski recorded the shut out. Then on Friday Kootenay on a solid effort from everyone beat the Wheat Kings 5-3 and 4-0 on Saturday night.
Sam Reinhart had two goals in the 4-0 win and Skapski once again earned the shutout stopping 31 shots. Kootenay hits the road for games with Portland and Everett before coming home Wednesday, November 28 for a home and home with the Edmonton Oil Kings.
