Atom Ice take Spokane by storm

The Cranbrook Atom ICE went undefeated last weekend in Spokane.

The ICE tied Spokane in the first game of round robin action then went on to beat Missoula, Portland and Nelson. Portland Winterhawks would come through the back door to meet up with the ICE in the final. Portland started off strong going ahead 2-0 early in the game. With seconds remaining in the first Kadyn Chabot would score one of his four goals of the game.

Portland and Cranbrook would trade goals in the second and third period before the ICE went on a streak scoring 4 unanswered, winning the game 8-5 and taking the championship.
