The U14 Boys KEYSA Rovers started out their season with a gold medal at the Terry Walgren Memorial Tournament in Nelson, BC on May 24th & 25th, 2014.

This was the team’s first gold medal at this tournament!

Teams in the U14 divisions were: KEYSA Rovers, KSYSA Storm (Castlegar), Nelson Selects and the Creston Blitzz

Result:

1st game VS Nelson Selects, 2-1 for Rovers, 2nd game VS KSYSA Storm, 1-1, 3rd game VS Creston Blitzz, 7-0 for Rovers.

Rovers finished in first place with the most points then moved on to the championship game VS KSYSA Storm.

It was a very close game but the Rovers finished strong with 3-2 win!

A big thank you goes out to coaches, Fiona Risdon & Peter Campbell.

Also a great support from Whitecaps coach Sam Heap!
